Janene Snyder, Missionary Associate
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8
Hey Everyone,
Welcome to my blog! The following post is what I should have put on here first, as it explains the details of what I will be doing in Mexico for a year. I hope this helps things seem less confusing for those who have not yet heard about this ministry. I am very new to this whole thing, so please bear with me as I learn how to make this an informative, enjoyable experience for you. Thank you for your interest!
Here's the Exciting News:
God has opened an exciting door for ministry in Mexico. I have the opportunity to serve missionaries and their children by working in a private, Christian school as a Missionary Associate for one year. My responsibilities will include being a teacher’s aide and tutor to the elementary students, mentoring the older female students, and filling in for the administrative assistant part-time. Along with the work at the school, I would also like to get involved in a local church and be a part of out-reaches to the community.
How Can You Help?
Here are two ways you can help me get to Mexico. First of all, I would be honored if you would pray for me and the school in Oaxaca. Prayer and personal encouragement is vital! And secondly, if you are able and willing to give financially, that would be very much appreciated.
Ready, Set, Go!In order to leave in the summer of 2010, I still need to raise about $1,100.00 a month in pledges. If you choose to come along-side me financially in this work, please send donations to the address listed below. Please make checks payable to Assemblies of God World Missions with my name and account number on the memo line. You can also give online at: www.worldmissions.ag.org.
Thank You!
Thank you for taking time to read about this opportunity. I appreciate your willingness to consider this ministry in a time when finances are limited, to say the least! Please join me in praying for the many preparations to be made, the students and missionaries to whom I will be ministering and the raising of the needed finances.
